To thrive as a Railroad Design Engineer, you should have a solid background in civil engineering, rail geometry, and project management, typically supported by a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field and an EIT or PE license. Proficiency with CAD software (such as MicroStation or AutoCAD), track design tools, and industry standards (like AREMA guidelines) is crucial. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are important soft skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Job Summary:
As a Rail Engineer IV, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and development of rail infrastructure. Your experience and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our rail projects, from concept through construction. You will work with clients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality rail solutions. You will independently apply techniques and procedures in accordance with established criteria to perform assigned tasks, performing routine technical work that requires previous experience.
