Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends)

Iron Horse Terminals is seeking experienced Conductors (or advanced Switchmen ready to promote) to join our growing rail operations team in Beaumont, TX. We operate a fast-paced yard where safety, precision, and teamwork are non-negotiable.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and direct train movements in our yard and on local track
  • Execute and interpret switch lists and movement plans with a small crew
  • Communicate clearly by radio and hand signals
  • Perform track switches, coupling/uncoupling, air brake checks, and safety inspections
  • Ensure compliance with all FRA and company safety rules and procedures
  • Support efficient, error-free railcar movement and logistics
  • Promote a strong safety culture and model professionalism for newer crew


What You Bring

  • FRA Conductor certification preferred, or relevant rail experience with ability to certify quickly
  • 13+ years in rail switching, train crew, or conductor roles
  • High safety awareness and attention to detail
  • Solid communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions and on rotating shifts
