Our team supports a combined fleet of ships sailing to Alaska each summer, lodges and hotels, luxury motor coaches and the largest domed rail cars in the world. Our guests experience both luxury and adventure that is truly unmatched.ย 
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a cooperative relationship and are the primary contact for local vendors and Shore Excursion Managers for the various ships serviced.ย 
  • They will interact with guests and ship personnel in a professional manner both in attitude and dress. They are responsible for confirming tour numbers on the docks and ensuring that all equipment is staged properly and safely on the docks, ready to execute departures on time.ย 
  • Work closely with supervisors and managers to ensure that the ships requests, questions and bookings are met and reflected on the dispatch.ย 
  • Accountable for carrying out their responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, objectives and applicable government laws and regulations. ย 

  • One year of experience with cruise ships from the port side of operations.ย 
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.ย 
  • Clear communication skills both verbally and in writing.ย 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a clean driving record to qualify for driving company vehicles.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.ย 
  • Minimum age of 18 years required to reside in company housing, where available.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.ย 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.ย 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.ย 
  • Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.ย 
  • Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
