PRS Auto is growing, and we are excited to welcome a Rail Terminal Supervisor of Operations to our close-knit team supporting operations at the rail-served vehicle distribution facility near the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, KY. If you are motivated, dependable, and ready to lead, we will provide the training and support you need to succeed. Prior rail, mechanical, or automotive experience is not required.

LOCATION:
Louisville, Kentucky (Westport Road / Ford Truck Plant area).
THE ROLE:
As a Rail Terminal Supervisor of Operations, you will oversee daily terminal activity, including the loading / unloading of newly built Ford vehicles onto railcars and coordination of railcar handling and readiness activities.
You will be a hands-on leader responsible for safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction, while guiding your team and keeping operations running smoothly within a high-volume automotive shipping environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Coordinate and schedule daily vehicle loading/unloading operations onto autorack railcars.
  • Oversee railcar placement, readiness, and general railcar handling activities.
  • Lead, support, and motivate your team while monitoring productivity and performance.
  • Ensure all safety standards and procedures are followed consistently.
  • Communicate with customers and partners to support vehicle flow and railcar availability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and vehicle security.
  • Assign daily duties and manage staffing levels.
  • Work closely with terminal leadership to improve operational efficiency and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE:
  • $20-$25 per hour (Commensurate with experience).
  • Full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week with some overtime available).
  • Various shift times available – primarily day shift operations.
