Job Purpose
To support the sales and service organization of the Freight Car Services team by providing timely and accurate reporting, reconciliation, inventory and forecast of stock levels across all locations.

Key Job Elements
• Accurately record, schedule, and report orders to the customer and Progress Rail facilities.
• Coordinate order fulfillment across multiple facilities to meet deadlines.
• Provide customers with daily visibility into material movements and tracking status.
• Conduct on-site inventory audits alongside customers to ensure cross-system data accuracy.
• Compile and deliver comprehensive monthly material reports to key clients.
• Reconcile and track inventory across all shops using multiple tools and systems.
• Forecast and order materials to maintain optimal stock levels across all PRS facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow up with internal and external customers on inquiries, requests and complaints;
• Experience coordinating customer orders, scheduling, and fulfillment across multiple facilities.
• Ability to compile, analyze, and deliver accurate material or inventory reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to perform with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
• Experience working in multiple business systems, customer portals, and order management tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel multiple times a year to perform inventories
