Job description

RAICES Youth Leader Job Compensation:
  • $10.00 Per Hour

RAICES Youth Leader Job Responsibilities:
  • Will attend & actively participate in weekly RAICES leadership meetings.
  • Participate in youth group activities, community events, outreach efforts, and leadership development opportunities.
  • Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled meetings, trainings, and program activities.
  • Assist with planning and facilitating youth-led activities, workshops, and discussions.
  • Represent the RAICES program at community events and awareness activities.
  • Help recruit and encourage other high school students to participate in RAICES programming.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants
  • Follow program expectations and encourage peers to do the same.
  • Complete required surveys, evaluations, and feedback forms to help improve the program.
  • Participate in the Annual Teen Summit and assist with youth-led workshops and activities.
  • Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating leadership, responsibility, and commitment to the goals of the RAICES program.
  • Perform other youth leadership activities as assigned.

RAICES Youth Leader Job Qualifications:
  • Must be a high school student between the age of 16-18 years old.
  • Must commit to fulfilling 15 hours monthly.
  • Motivated to learn & advocate for young people, social injustice, and community development.
  • Take initiative in program projects and/or opportunities.
  • Able to work/participate in weekend events when required.
