Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Processing Specialist to support our growing order management team. This is a non-customer-facing role focused on accurately reviewing, validating, and booking customer orders into Oracle. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to identify discrepancies and take appropriate action to ensure order accuracy.

As order volumes continue to grow, this position will play a critical role in supporting the efficient processing of direct customer accounts and maintaining the integrity of order information.

Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process orders for direct customer accounts, ensuring all submitted information is complete and accurate.
  • Verify that order details match customer submissions and supporting documentation prior to order entry.
  • Enter and maintain order information within Oracle and related systems.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information, or data errors and take appropriate action to resolve them according to established procedures.
  • Ensure accurate booking of orders while adhering to internal processes and quality standards.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while processing a large volume of orders.
  • Support increasing business demands as order volume continues to grow.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary information and ensure orders are processed correctly.
  • Monitor order queues and prioritize work to meet processing deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to order processing activities.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in order processing, data entry, order management, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in documentation and order submissions.
  • Experience working within ERP systems; Oracle experience preferred.
  • Comfortable processing a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
