Overview

TEKsystems is seeking detail-oriented and dependable Data Validation Specialists to support a critical systems migration project. This role is responsible for transferring, reviewing, and validating data between spreadsheets and systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the migration process.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with spreadsheets, and capable of performing repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy. This position plays an important role in helping ensure that customer and operational records are accurately migrated into a new system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transfer data from spreadsheets and source files into designated systems and templates.
  • Validate migrated records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Review data for discrepancies, missing information, and formatting issues.
  • Compare records across multiple data sources and identify exceptions for review.
  • Follow established procedures and project guidelines for data entry and validation.
  • Document findings and report data quality issues to project leads.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive customer and business information.
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve data-related questions.
