Job Summary:

This role requires a reliable and safety-conscious Non-CDL Delivery Driver to transport products and materials between two company facilities located approximately 2 miles apart. This position plays a key role in supporting production and operational efficiency by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe movement of goods throughout the workday.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a company vehicle to transport products, materials, and supplies between locations.
  • Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transport.
  • Verify shipment contents and quantities before and after deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate item transactions and documentation related to movement of items between buildings.
  • Communicate with shipping, production, and management regarding delivery schedules and priorities.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with warehouse, inventory, or material-handling tasks when not actively making deliveries.
  • May occasionally be asked to drive to other businesses as needed to meet company objectives
  • Keep vehicles clean and organized.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role driving a delivery truck.
  • Previous forklift operator experience and ability to pass the Radix certification for forklift operator.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage a self-directed workday based on a daily priority.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities as directed.


Travel: Daily driving between the Glenwillow and Solon site


Supervisory Responsibilities: None


Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED; OR 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate non-CDL vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Previous delivery, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.


Shifts:

  • Hours will be Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm
  • Overtime depending on business needs
