Radiologic Technologist

Pay Range: $26.80 - $40.20

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Under the direction of the radiologist, provides X-ray services to patient. Closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested.

Position Specifics:

  • Department: Radiologic Technologist
  • Core Function: Imaging
  • Schedule: Part-Time, 24 hours/week; dayshift; Saturday and Sunday; 6 am to 6:30 pm
  • Facility: St. Mary's Hospital
  • Location: Decatur, IL
  • Compensation: Compensation that aligns with your experience; weekend position would be an additional $7/hour.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Associates degree is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.

Experience Qualifications

  • 1 year experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.
  • Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
