Emergency Medicine Physician OpportunityLocation: Fergus Falls, MNPosition Overview:A full-time Emergency Medicine physician is sought to join a dedicated team providing high-quality emergency care. The group includes 4 physicians and 2 physician assistants exclusively serving the emergency department.Schedule & Coverage:•Variable 12-hour shifts (7:30AM–7:30PM / 7:30PM–7:30AM) with equitable distribution of days, nights, weekends, and holidays•Guaranteed 1,500 hours per year (approx. 10–12 shifts/month) with opportunity to pick up additional shifts•Level 3 Trauma Center designation (closest Level 1 Trauma Center ~1 hour away in Fargo, ND)•Average 12,000 patient visits annually•Emergency Medicine PA coverage daily (12PM–10PM)•24/7 hospitalist coverage (inpatient codes managed by hospitalists; ED physician manages codes in ED only)•Local ambulance service and specialized nursing staff trained in trauma, cardiac, and pediatric emergenciesSpecialty & Ancillary Support:•In-house: Surgery, Anesthesia, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Cardiology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Oncology, Radiology, Dermatology, ENT, and more•After-hours access to General Surgery, Anesthesia, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, and Radiology•24/7 tele-stroke neurology support•Onsite infusion center, lab, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, ultrasound, and advanced imaging (PET, CT, MRI, mammography, endoscopy, bronchoscopy)•EMR: EPICQualifications:•MD or DO degree with completion of accredited Emergency Medicine residency•Board certification preferred; board eligibility required•Active Minnesota Medical License & DEA (or ability to obtain)•Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environmentCompensation & Benefits:•Projected annual income starting at $480,000 based on 12 shifts/month: additional earning potential for extra shifts•Hourly base compensation with shift and holiday pay differentials•Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (residents eligible)•CME allowance, professional dues, and memberships covered•Health, dental, vision, disability, and malpractice insurance•401K with 10% employer contribution (fully vested after eligibility requirements)•Cash balance plan & profit-sharing plan available
