As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your main duties will include performing radiographic imaging exams, operating radiology equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. You'll work with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to deliver accurate imaging results that are essential for diagnosing and treating patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures, including X-rays and other imaging studies, ensuring high-quality results.
- Safely operate radiographic equipment and ensure proper positioning to obtain the best images.
- Work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to support patient diagnosis and care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of imaging procedures.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, yourself, and colleagues.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and making patients feel at ease during exams.
- Participate in departmental quality assurance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology
- Certification: Current ARRT certification required
- State License: Must hold or be eligible for licensure in Indiana
- Experience: Prior experience in radiologic technology preferred but not required
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
