Job description

Radiologic Technologist

This position involves performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care environment. You'll work across multiple settings, including outpatient (OP), emergency department (ED), inpatient (IP), operating room (OR), and trauma.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general diagnostic X-ray procedures
  • Assist with fluoroscopic imaging
  • Handle both portable and fixed radiographic equipment
  • Support imaging needs in emergency, surgical, and inpatient settings

Requirements

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience

  • Prior experience in an acute care setting is preferred

Certifications & Licensure

  • Valid New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiography license
  • ARRT (R) certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
