How you'll contribute
A Cardiovascular Technician who excels in this role:
- Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Enter new data as needed.
- Monitors heart rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. Reports any changes to the appropriate person.
- Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Assists cardiologist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Administers medications to patients under the supervision of attending physicians.

What we're looking for:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g. Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, Paramedicine, Licensed Practical Nurse or equivalent academic program and experience.)
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
- Licensure or Certification in degree field within 90 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year hire/transfer)
- Non-Radiologic Technology and Licensed Practical Nursing requires Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within 18 months of hire
- 1 year related experience (Preferred)
