Job description

  • Plant knowledge and passion to help customers with their garden or landscaping needs,
  • Customer-service driven and a critical eye to notice when customers need assistance or merchandise needs attention.
  • Creativity to display plants and garden accessories to demonstrate design ideas,
  • Care with tending to our lush plants, shrubs, trees and
  • Complete Cashier, Sales Associate and Department Head duties as necessary.
  • Help unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise (as arranged by management).
  • Maintain your assigned department: Keep clean, organized and fully stocked.
  • Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals/priorities assigned to you and move with your  “Ace Pace”.
  • Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
  • Restock merchandise displays as needed, watch end caps and side wings.
  • Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
  • Never tell a customer no without checking with a manager.
  • Watch for shoplifters and act, in line with Elder’s policy, that will discourage shoplifting.
  • Respond to radio requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.
