Job description

We are trying to source Sr. Project Manager (Radio Systems) specialist to support our client implementation and cutover of its new 7โ€“800 MHz Motorola P25 public-safety radio system.

The candidate needs to be a very experienced Motorola public-safety radio PM, not simply a general IT project manager. The SOW specifically requires at least 10 years of experience managing Motorola public-safety radio systems/projects, preferably in law enforcement. Experience should include 500/700/800 MHz, combined 7โ€“800 MHz, and LTE environments.

It is 100% Onsite at Westbury, NY.

The technical background they expect is broad: P25 Phase I/II, FDMA/TDMA, trunking, simulcast, encryption, Motorola subscriber radios, MCC 7500 dispatch consoles, microwave, ISSI, radio coverage, OTAP/OTAR, authentication, Radio Central, provisioning, FCC licensing/compliance, and related radio-core technologies.

There is also a notable software/integration component. They want experience overseeing or validating C, C++, Java and ASP.NET API development/integration with NCPD systems including NICE Logging & Recording, CAD, GIS/CC AWARE, and AMS.

 Required Skills

ยท   Experience project managing and implementing large-scale public safety radio communications systems. (Law enforcement preferred)
