How you'll make an impact:Producer, Talk Radio will be responsible for all aspects involved in producing a live daily show. This includes guest booking, research, promotion/social media, studio/technical operations, production. A strong sense of news awareness is important in this position. 

What you'll do:

  • Book interviews, conduct pre-interviews with guests and prepare pre materials for host.
  • Manage the studio/technical operations of the show.
  • Manage promotion and production of the show.
  • Follow format and provide hosts with feedback.
  • Assist the PD of the channel to promote the show and channel. 

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent experience.
  • Previous production experience within radio and/or live studio environment preferred.
  • Good public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.
  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
  • Creative writing ability.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work
  • under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the annual salary for this this position to be between $57,600 and $75,150 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
