Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented C-UxS Test Engineer to join our team! In this role you get to design, conduct, analyze and report on Counter-Unmanned Systems performance test and evaluation.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design test plans to evaluate various C-UxS technologies to include radio frequency devices, electro-optical/infrared cameras, user interfaces, networks, and software integrations.
  • Support the development of front-end and back-end software.
  • Work in a fast pace environment supporting traditional and Agile project.
  • Develop concepts to test and verify systems specifications and provide a strong written narrative to support technical analysis.
  • Draft test documentation for testing and evaluation
  • Conducts general test support to include test set-up and tear-down.
  • Safely fly/operate small drones.
  • Execute tests on a wide range of technologies at multiple locations across the U.S.
  • Support the development of key metrics to support the programs solution development team.
  • Responsible for target placement, target configuration, and target operator instructions and guidance
  • Brief executive leaders on findings and recommendations
  • Write and provide test reports to multiple levels of leadership throughout the government.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cyber Security, Mathematics/Statistics, or Engineering with 5+ years of experience is required OR more than 5+ years of experience conducting data analytics on a daily basis
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, and Linux
  • Experience with test design and reporting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of test methods and methodologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively to solve problems within a cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering processes
  • Experience effectively and professionally communicating technical and program related information to multiple stakeholders and adherence to established communications plans.
  • Candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in dynamic, politically sensitive environments ensuring customer expectations are managed.
  • Must have a minimum of a SECRET clearance, or the ability to obtain one.

  • Basic mechanical understanding; experience working with tools.
  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) transmission, detection, and deterrence equipment and techniques desired.
  • Experience with C-UxS operation & capabilities; and command, control, and guidance systems desired.
  • Experience testing Counter-Unmanned Systems.
  • The position requires daily interface with customers at numerous levels. Candidate must possess and use a high degree of tact and interpersonal communication skills in daily interactions with team members, clients, vendors, and end-users.
  • Experience flying both rotary and fixed wing Group 1-2 C-UxS

Security Clearance Requirement:
A security clearance is not required to apply; however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. citizenship, prior to the start date.
