Interventional Radiology (IR) Rad Tech (Contract)

Location: New York 14642
Pay: $2,959 โ€“ $3,310/week
Contract Length: 6 months considered


Schedule
  • 8-hour Day Shift (e.g., 7:00 AM โ€“ 3:30 PM)

  • 5x8s (Mondayโ€“Friday)

  • On-call: 5โ€“7 shifts per 7-week block (2โ€“4 weekend call shifts)

  • Callback and holidays as needed


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Perform IR imaging and assist radiologist during procedures

  • Prepare and position patients for exams

  • Operate radiologic equipment and ensure image quality

  • Document accurately in HIS/RIS/PACS systems

  • Support room turnover and team workflow

  • Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and equipment functionality


Requirements
  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years Interventional Radiology experience

  • Licensure: NYS Tech license or ability to obtain prior to start (required)

  • Certifications:

    • BLS (AHA only)

    • VIR Certification (required/preferred per facility)

  • Additional:

    • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills

    • Must meet on-call and callback requirements
