IR Neuro Rad Tech

Contract

In-Office | Rochester, NY, United States

  • 5x8s or 4x10s - 40 hours/week

  • 2-3 on-call shifts/month, 1 holiday shift/assignment

  • Neurosurgery/neuroscience experience required

  • IR experience highly preferred

  • BLS required


Responsibilities

  • Perform IR Neuro Rad Tech procedures following established protocols.

  • operate imaging equipment with precision to capture high-quality neuro studies.

  • adhere to regulatory and safety standards; ensure compliance with radiology guidelines.

  • maintain meticulous patient positioning and safety throughout procedures.

  • document procedure details and results in accurate, timely reports.

  • collaborate with physicians and team to plan and optimize neuro imaging workflows.

  • participate in ongoing professional development and training to advance technical skills.

Experience/Qualifications

  • IR neuro radiology technique certification or ARRT/ equivalent licensure

  • Proven experience performing interventional neuroradiology imaging procedures

  • Strong knowledge of radiology safety, radiation protection, and regulatory compliance

  • Proficient operation of angiography and CT/MRI suites specific to neuro studies

  • Precise patient positioning and clinical workflow optimization for neuro studies

  • Accurate documentation and timely reporting of procedures and results

  • Accountability for personal performance targets and measurable outcomes
