Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant – LTAC travel assignment in Salem, New Hampshire. Start date 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours 36 per week with a weekly pay range of $1,714 to $1,817. Shift: 5x8 Days (08:00–16:30). Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor treatment plans for patients requiring long-term acute care in a skilled setting, under supervision.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and modalities as directed to promote functional goals.
- Assess patient response to interventions, document progress, and communicate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.
- Assist with evaluation activities, sets up equipment, and prepares treatment areas; ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record and comply with regulatory and facility policies.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Hampshire or eligibility to practice per state rules.
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Minimum 1 year of PTA experience or equivalent in a skilled care or LTAC setting preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care/Skilled Nursing Facility environment; willingness to travel for a temporary assignment.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required for travel assignments.
