Job description

Job Summary:
SwingVision is the AI racket sports app that provides automated stats, highlights, and line calling using just your phone. They are seeking an experienced Head of Product to own the product lifecycle from vision to execution, driving the roadmap for their category-defining app.
Responsibilities:
• Own the Roadmap: Take the baton from the CEO to define and execute the long-term product vision, ensuring our features continue to resonate with both amateur and pro athletes.
• Innovation Leadership: Identify new opportunities in the AI sports tech space and translate complex technical capabilities into intuitive, magical user experiences.
• End-to-End Execution: Orchestrate the entire product lifecycle — from user research and scoping to cross-functional development and successful launch.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with our world-class engineering, design, and marketing teams to remove roadblocks and ensure the smooth, high-velocity delivery of product milestones.
• Customer Centricity: Act as the ultimate advocate for the player, continuously conducting user interviews and leveraging feedback to improve the app experience and drive feature adoption.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze product data to uncover friction points in the user journey and propose product experiments to increase engagement, trial conversion, and LTV.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ Years in Product Management (B2C Mobile/SaaS): You have a proven track record of shipping successful consumer mobile products and driving user growth.
• Founder-Level Ownership: You have the experience and confidence required to step into a role previously held by the CEO and take full accountability for product outcomes.
• The 'Player-Coach' Mentality: You are strategic enough to present the roadmap to the Board but scrappy enough to write detailed PRDs, conduct QA, or talk directly to users.
• Strong Storyteller: Exceptional communication skills — you know how to align an engineering and design team behind a vision, not just a list of tickets.
• Product Passion: Avid user of SwingVision.
Preferred:
• Startup DNA: Experience working in a Series A or similar high-growth environment (team size <50).
• Analytical Stack: Proficiency with Amplitude, RevenueCat, and visualization tools.
• Technical Fluency: A technical background or a deep understanding of AI/computer vision capabilities on mobile devices.
Company:
SwingVision provides automated stats, highlights and officiating for amateur athletes in ball & racket sports. Founded in 2019, the company is headquartered in Berkeley, USA, with a team of 11-50 employees. The company is currently Early Stage.
