Job Responsibilities:
  • Rack & Install Hardware: Mount, install, and secure servers, switches, routers, and storage devices in data center racks.
  • Power Distribution: Install and connect power distribution units (PDUs), circuit breakers, and UPS systems.
  • Structured Cabling: Route, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a cables following TIA/EIA standards.
  • Fiber Optic Installation: Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables (single-mode & multi-mode) using OTDR and light meters.
  • Cable Management: Organize and label network and power cables for a clean and efficient layout.
  • Hardware Configuration: Connect and verify network and power connections; perform initial device configuration.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, cabling, and connectivity issues.
