Rack & Stack Technician

 

Rack & Stack Technician - $18-21/hr.

We are looking for a skilled Rack & Stack Technicians with 1+ year of experience to support our construction operations by assembling systems in a controlled shop environment. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Houston area.  

Responsibilities

  • Install insulation inside designated cabinet areas according to assembly specifications and work instructions.
  • Remove powder coating from designated bolt holes and mounting points as required for proper rack installation.
  • Prepare cabinets, racks, mounting locations, and hardware for installation.
  • Position and install racks inside designated cabinets.
  • Install, tighten, and secure bolts, fasteners, brackets, and other mounting hardware.
  • Verify proper rack alignment, positioning, and fitment within each cabinet.
  • Ensure all components are properly assembled and secured.
  • Perform final visual and basic quality inspections of completed assemblies.
  • Correct assembly-related issues and complete punch-list items before turnover.
  • Follow all applicable work instructions, drawings, specifications, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with mechanical assembly, cabinet assembly, rack installation, manufacturing, construction, data center installation, or similar hands-on work is preferred.
  • Experience using hand and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, sockets, and wrenches.
  • Ability to install and secure bolts, brackets, racks, and other mechanical hardware.
  • Ability to follow assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on mechanical assembly work.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding alignment, hardware installation, and quality control.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively as part of an assembly and installation team.

Compensation:

·       Competitive starting pay $18-21/hr.

·       10-20 hours OT as needed
