Job description

The Product Puller will be responsible for Picking, pulling, and verifying quantity, quality, and addressing of products ready for shipment.


Responsibilities:

  • Pulls Stacks of product onto trailers in the proper loading order.
  • Stack-cased product as required.
  • Run stack tract (computer entry for in and outfeed).
  • Operate a palletizer to load product onto a pallet and shrink wrap.
  • Operate a pallet jack for moving pallets of product.
  • Pick products and drags them onto conveyor chains.
  • Load product into trailers.
  • Place units of milk on racks.
  • Restock product lines.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Production/Warehouse experience required.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read chemical labels and follow safe handling of pro-food-grader food-grade products.
  • Must be able to work weekends, varying shifts (days, evenings, nights), and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to accurately record data.
  • Minimum age: 18
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.


Physical Demand/Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally 75 pounds
  • Ability to constantly pull up to 270 lbs. with a pull rod while walking backward.
  • To walk/stand on your feet constantly during your shift.
  • Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of your surroundings.
  • Must be able to work in both very hot (more than 100 degrees) and very cold (less than 20 degrees below zero) and in a very wet and humid environment for extended periods of time.
  • Exposed to noise/vibration, and chemicals.
  • Required to Stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, push and pull, bend, kneel and reach above and below the shoulder.
  • Repetition-Hand/Wrist Simple Grasping, Firm grasping.
