Cable Technician (Tech II's and above)– Data Center & Commercial Projects
Location: Irving, TX
Pay: $23–$30/hour (Based on Experience)

Job Description
We are seeking experienced Cable Technicians to support commercial construction and data center projects throughout the DFW area, with optional travel opportunities available nationwide.
This is a hands-on field position focused on installing and supporting structured cabling systems. We are looking for technicians with experience pulling, dressing, terminating, and testing low-voltage cabling in commercial and data center environments.
This is NOT an IT, Help Desk, Network Administrator, or Desktop Support position.
Responsibilities

  •  Pull, route, and secure Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling


  •  Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable tray, ladder rack, and conduit


  •  Dress and label cables according to project specifications


  •  Install and terminate copper and fiber cabling


  •  Install patch panels, racks, cabinets, and network hardware


  •  Read blueprints, floor plans, and cable schedules


  •  Perform cable testing and troubleshooting


  •  Maintain safe work practices on active construction sites

Requirements

  •  3+ years of structured cabling, low-voltage, or data center experience


  •  Experience pulling cable in commercial buildings, warehouses, schools, hospitals, offices, or data centers


  •  Ability to work from ladders and lifts


  •  Reliable transportation


  •  Ability to lift 50+ lbs


  •  OSHA 10 required


  •  Fiber experience is a plus
