Job Title: Data Center Technician.

Job Location: Council Bluffs, Iowa .


Description:-

Key Responsibilities

  • Rack and stack servers, network, and storage equipment.
  • Install, route, label, and manage copper and fiber cabling.
  • Perform structured cabling and patch panel work.
  • Install rails, PDUs, cable management, and airflow components.
  • Connect power cables following established standards.
  • Read installation documentation and follow Method of Procedures (MOPs).
  • Maintain organized racks and work areas while following data center safety standards.

Required Skills

L1 Technician

  • 5–6+ months of structured cabling experience.
  • Experience with CAT5/CAT6, copper, fiber, and patch panels.
  • Basic rack & stack experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a Data Center or Central Office environment is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

L2 Technician

  • 2+ years of Data Center experience.
  • Strong experience with rack & stack and structured cabling.
  • Fiber troubleshooting and fiber testing using Fluke equipment.
  • Experience with patch panels, cable management, and infrastructure deployments.
  • Ability to read rack elevations, technical drawings, and Method of Procedures (MOPs).
  • Experience with liquid cooling or airflow management is a plus.
