Job Summary


The Product Validation Engineer will be responsible for productization of SiTime’s revolutionary timing devices. We are looking for passionate, self-starters who can work cross-functionally to ensure system-level performance of our products and help solve the world’s toughest timing problems. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

Responsibilities:


  • Validation, characterization, and release-to-production of MEMS-based timing products.
  • Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements for enhanced performance.
  • Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware to enable automated data acquisition & analysis.
  • Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments.
  • Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues.
  • Innovate and prototype system architectures and new technologies for next-generation products.

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong, fundamental knowledge of mixed signal circuits.
  • Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent programming skills and prior experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills.

The annual base salary range for this role is $78,700 – $108,240. The final offer is determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and training.


In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of innovation goals—reflecting our commitment to recognizing meaningful impact. We also offer equity grants, providing a meaningful opportunity to share in the company’s future growth and success.
