Job Description
Founded in 1979, Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor providing engineering, technical, manufacturing, and industrial support services to the United States Navy.
SRM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the development of Submarine On Board Training (SOBT) Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) and Submarine Learning Channel (SubLC) video products in accordance with the applicable development guide. The project manager will own the project from task statement development to final acceptance ensuring the products behave and function properly in a Learning Management System (LMS) environment.
 
Primary Responsibilities
Tasks and responsibilities in this role include:
  • Review products to validate content is accurate in accordance with engineering and publication changes.
  • Generate task statements.
  • Generate video storyboards and outlines.
  • Lead meetings and in process reviews.
  • Review plan of actions and milestones.
  • Review instructional media design packages.
  • Review storyboards, alpha and beta deliverables.
  • Test product functionality and behavior in a LMS environment.
  • Brief leadership on product development status.
  • Collaborate with others to create SOBT products.
  • Execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure consistency across all products to set standards of appearance, content and style.
 
Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
  • Ability to work effectively, manage expectations, and interact with internal and external team members.
 
Education/Experience
 
Required:
  • College degree and 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to possess a DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred:
  • 5 years of professional experience in project management.
  • Certification in project management.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience with testing and QA.
  • Experience with Navy training.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
