Salary: $110,000 - $118,000

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of IT Applications, the Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for engineering, design, development, support, and architecture of software, integrations, data, and business intelligence across all Randa companies. This individual will be responsible for building robust, scalable solutions while ensuring code quality and performance. This includes designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Utilizes sound engineering principles to build robust, secure, scalable, and appropriately tested features and solutions from end to end
  • Works with technologies across the Randa development stack, including front-end, back-end, DevOps, and cloud
  • Translates business requirements into designs and code that achieve business and technical objectives
  • Works collaboratively with cross-cutting teams to solve complex technical challenges to meet business goals
  • Builds confidence, trust, and rapport with internal and external clients as appropriate
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above

Education/License Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

General Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience working in complex environments (or work experience equivalent)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, SQL, and API development
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automation, DevOps practices, IaC, and modern engineering methodologies
  • Understanding of CRUD‑based integrations
  • Strong knowledge of unit testing and source control (branching models, Git)
  • Experience with SQL stored procedures and advanced query design
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3 or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with domain‑driven design or cloud‑native architectures preferred
  • Exposure to UI technologies (HTML5, CSS3, React, Node.js, ES6) a plus
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills
