We are seeking a University Relations & Recruiting (UR&R) Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) for the Aeronautics sector, who is ready to play a critical role in building the teams that power our mission. This role is designed for a strategic talent partner who thrives at the intersection of business partnership, talent strategy, and organizational impact.

Weโ€™re looking for a TABP to own the full cycle of University Relations & Recruiting in our world-class Aeronautics organization. Youโ€™ll build and manage strategic relationships with target universities, partner directly with hiring managers to build pipelines and hire high-quality technical talent  and play a key role in shaping how we grow our workforce. 

This position is based in Oklahoma City, OK, aligned to one of our core Aeronautics Systems sites for mission critical programs and key university partnerships, and will require up to 25% travel, particularly during peak campus recruiting seasons.

In this role, you will:

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with target universities and student organizations aligned to our business needs
  • Establish and maintain long-term university partnerships, including faculty, career service, and student organizations
  • Develop and execute campus recruiting strategies to build a sustainable early career talent pipeline (i.e. engineering disciplines and emerging technologies)
  • Maintaining a โ€œkeep warmโ€ strategy for our candidates across the academic cycles
  • Screen, assess and present qualified early career candidates aligned to defined hiring profiles
  • Partner with hiring managers to refine candidate criteria and selection strategies
  • Act as strategic advisor to hiring managers and early career talent market trends and campus strategy
  • Lead planning and execution of campus events, networking sessions, and student engagement initiatives
  • Promote company culture, values, and mission alignment to strengthen brand presence
  • Ensure seamless, high quality candidate experience through effective communication and process transparency
  • Use data insights to inform campus strategy aligned to business sustainability and affordability posture
  • Ensure adherence to recruiting policies, university guidelines, and compliance requirements
  • Manage full life cycle recruitment for regional and site-specific early career and intern hiring requisitions
  • Collaborate with Enterprise and Sector UR&R teams to participate in university partnerships
  • Update candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure data integrity
  • Develop and analyze UR&R metrics
  • Develop and implement process improvements that drive operating excellence
  • The successful candidates will have exposure to the college recruiting space and display the ability to consult with all levels of internal and external customers, including students and University partners, Hiring Managers, and various levels of leadership

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting / University Relations OR Bachelorโ€™s Degree and 0 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting / University Relations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Travel required up to 25%
  • Must be based in Oklahoma City, OK or within a reasonable commuting distance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle recruiting through offer accept
  • Proficiency in Workday and Eightfold
  • Previous TA experience in Corp recruiting environment
  • TA experience within the internship and early career arena
