R&R Utility Const. LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Lowboy NRG Truck Driver to safely transport heavy equipment to and from job sites. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and a commitment to safety.


Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Lowboy tractor-trailer to transport heavy construction equipment.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck, trailer, and equipment.
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured before transport.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and required transportation documentation.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and project supervisors regarding deliveries and schedules.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance inspections and report any mechanical issues.
  • Follow all company safety policies and federal/state transportation regulations.
  • Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and job site personnel.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of verified experience operating a Lowboy/Heavy Haul truck.
  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Experience hauling heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and other oversized equipment.
  • Knowledge of proper load securement and DOT regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, as needed.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the underground utility or construction industry.
  • Knowledge of Texas oversize load requirements and permitting.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment for loading and unloading is a plus.
