To excel as a Quintero (tobacco cigar roller), you need precise manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of tobacco leaves and cigar construction, often acquired through hands-on experience or apprenticeships. Familiarity with traditional cigar-rolling tools, quality inspection processes, and in some cases, adherence to health and safety standards is important.
