Company Description Capri Bookkeeping Solutions, LLC specializes in providing small business owners with professional, tailored bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks support. The firm serves as a critical link between clients and their tax preparers, making the bookkeeping process efficient, worry-free, and cost-effective. Each client is assigned a dedicated bookkeeper responsible for managing ongoing bookkeeping needs. All QuickBooks support is provided by a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and services are customized after a structured onboarding process to align with each client’s specific demands and expectations.

Role Description The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle for multiple small business clients, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing accurate financial reports. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining general ledgers, posting journal entries, handling accounts payable and receivable, and managing payroll processes and payroll tax filings. The role also involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, ensuring records are ready for tax preparation, and supporting QuickBooks setup, cleanup, and ongoing usage. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mt Laurel, NJ, requiring consistent in-person collaboration with the team and clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills, including Bookkeeping and Accounting experience across the full accounting cycle.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements for small business clients.
  • Proficiency in recording and reviewing Journal Entries (Accounting) and maintaining accurate general ledgers.
  • Experience managing Payroll Taxes, payroll processing, and related compliance requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks; Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role, ideally in a small business or client-service environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-accounting professionals.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Commitment to ethical, confidential handling of financial data and adherence to all relevant regulations.

Salary Range - $58,000 to $63,000 - position is full time in the office. Not Hybrid or Remote
