We are looking for an HVAC Lead Project Technician to oversee HVAC projects from planning through completion in Richmond, VA.
Pay: $25-$45/HR. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities
Here is some of your day:
  • Develop and manage project schedules, submittals, and documentation.
  • Oversee project financials, including cost controls and change orders.
  • Coordinate with estimators for large-scale changes; handle smaller change orders independently.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Utilize project management software (QuickBase, Procore, or similar) for tracking and reporting.

Qualifications
Here's who we're looking for:
Required
  • 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC and mechanical, with strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Excel and project management tools, and a valid state-issued driver's license (travel to job sites required)

Preferred
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, Business, or a related field
  • Supervisory experience in a project-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems (chillers, boilers, building controls)
  • PMP or CPM certification
