We are seeking a Quick Lane Service Technician to join our team. Along with the typical oil changes, our team will perform brake, tire, alignments, shock/strut, battery and overall fluids, filters and belt replacement services.

Requirements

  • Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.

  • Perform regular scheduled maintenance on all makes and modesl.

  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.

  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.

  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.

  • Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

  • Basic maintenance including but not limited to: Tire rotations and Tire replacement, Brake Inspection, Fluid top off, Lubrication services, Batteries, Light bulbs, etc.

Qualifications

  • Must have your own tools

  • Must be a team player and communicate/problem solve to achieve department goals

  • Must have a driver's license and a commercially insurable Motor Vehicle Report

  • Automotive repair experience very helpful

  • Automotive diagnostics and general familiarity with vehicle operating systems desirable

  • Must be willing to learn and engage in our company paid training programs
