Description:

Position Summary

The Quick Service Technician is responsible for efficiently performing required maintenance on customer vehicles including performing oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements and other basic maintenance.

Requirements:

Major Essential Duties

  • Works alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs.
  • Assists assigned technician as needed.
  • Delivers customer cars to service stalls as requested by technicians.
  • Picks up parts from the parts department as directed by technicians.
  • Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed.
  • Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Perform road tests to confirm repairs have been properly completed.
  • Maintain technical competence by attending required factory sponsored classes. Keep abreast of Toyota/Lexus technical bulletins.
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA laws. Follow all safety and work instructions in handling equipment and materials.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area at all times.
  • Follow all quality control processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe driving record.
  • Perform dealer trades and/or other driving duties.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Pay Range: $18-$20/ hour
