Job description

Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center in Vacaville, CA is hiring a Quick Lane Technician to perform oil changes, fluid inspections, and routine maintenance services. This is an entry-level role with room to grow, well-suited for someone with a basic mechanical background who wants hands-on experience in a high-volume service environment.

What You'll Do
  • Perform oil and filter changes accurately and efficiently
  • Check and top off transmission fluid, coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid
  • Inspect belts, hoses, and air filters and flag items that need attention
  • Check tire pressure and inspect tires for wear
  • Test vehicle systems and components to confirm they are functioning properly
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
  • Keep the service bay clean and organized throughout the shift
What We're Looking For
  • Prior experience in a shop or service environment preferred
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus
