Job Overview

The Service and Support Team Member at Safta’s Table is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. This role supports all service operations and may rotate through multiple positions including cashier, runner, busser, beverage station, and table maintenance.  The Hospitality Team Member ensures that each interaction reflects the care, comfort, and hospitality Safta’s Table is known for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests with warmth and positivity
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain a clean and inviting dining area, including wiping and resetting tables
  • Refill self-serve items such as sauces, utensils, and water stations
  • Answer guest questions about the menu and provide helpful recommendations
  • Operate the register and handle cash or card transactions with accuracy and professionalism
  • Monitor the flow of the café to anticipate guest needs and support team members
  • Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness at service stations and throughout the space
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and leadership team to ensure smooth service
  • Provide all other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
  • Willingness to learn and take direction with a positive attitude
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours)
