Job description

Hiring Class A CDL drivers for a stable, dedicated local retail account . This is a home-daily night-shift position offering steady freight, competitive weekly earnings, and additional pay opportunities.
## PAY
- Average weekly earnings: **$1,200–$1,550**
- THE POSSIBILITIES ARE THERE ON THIS ACCOUNT!!!
- Base pay: **$0.48–$0.60 per mile**, based on experience
- Night-shift premium: **additional $0.05 per mile**
- Weekend premium: **additional $0.04 per mile**
- Top combined rate: **up to $0.69 per mile**
- All loaded and empty miles paid
- Short-haul pay: **$40 for runs under 40 miles**
- Stop pay: **$10 for the first stop and $15 for each additional stop**
- Detention pay: **$20 per hour after two hours**
## SCHEDULE AND HOME TIME
- Home daily
- Night shift
- Choose a five-day or six-day work schedule
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Regular days off generally fall during the week
## POSITION DETAILS
- This is a Dedicated local retail account
- Consistent routes
- 100% no-touch freight
- Approximately 3–4 stops per load
- Return to the distribution center after each run to reload
- This is a Slipseat operation

## DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least six months of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Driver must reside within 40 miles of Opelika, Alabama
- Must meet DOT requirements and pass a DOT physical and required drug screening
- No major moving violations within the past three years
- Driver must have no at-fault accidents within the past 12 months preferred
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
