What You'll Do

As a Deli Clerk, you'll prepare and display food, assist customers with their selections, and keep the deli case looking its best. Key duties include:

  • Providing friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer service

  • Preparing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and labeling deli products

  • Setting up and maintaining the deli case with fresh ingredients and attractive displays

  • Ensuring proper rotation of products and removing expired items

  • Restocking deli items and supplies such as cutlery, cups, and containers

  • Preparing special orders to meet customer specifications

  • Offering samples to increase product awareness and drive sales

  • Reading and following recipes in English with accuracy

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace

  • Assisting vendors and contributing to department improvements

  • Supporting the team with other duties as needed
