Location: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Reports To: Store Lead / Shift Lead

Compensation: Hourly + Bonus


Position Summary

The Back of House (BOH) Team Member is a vital part of our airport cafรฉ, keeping our kitchen running smoothly and ensuring every traveler receives fresh, delicious, made-to-order food. This role thrives in a fast-paced airport environment, where meals need to be prepared quickly and accurately, helping make every guestโ€™s day better even if they only have a few minutes to eat. We are looking for energetic, team-oriented individuals who take pride in quality, speed, and cleanliness.


Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Line Support

  • Prepare and assemble made-to-order food items quickly and accurately.
  • Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety standards to ensure consistency.
  • Supports the kitchen with speed and efficiency.
  • Assist with prep work, including chopping, portioning, and stocking ingredients.

Quality & Consistency

  • Ensure all food items meet cafรฉ standards for taste, appearance, and temperature.
  • Check inventory regularly and notify management of low stock or needed ingredients.
  • Maintain quality control during high-volume rushes without sacrificing speed.

Cleanliness & Sanitation

  • Keep kitchen stations, prep areas, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Follow all food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
  • Assist with dishwashing and general BOH cleaning as needed.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Work closely with FOH team members to ensure smooth order flow and timely service.
  • Communicate clearly with teammates to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
