Malloy Ford in Alexandria is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Quick Lane Advisor to join our service team. In this role, you’ll help deliver a seamless and efficient experience by accurately documenting customer concerns, coordinating closely with technicians, and providing timely updates to ensure clear communication throughout the service process. The Quick Lane Advisor will be responsible for facilitating automotive work like oil changes, tires, brakes and recalls.

Quick Lane Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner while identifying their vehicle service needs

  • Create clear, accurate service orders and cost estimates

  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting service drive and waiting area

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and courteously

  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently

  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order

  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers

  • Suggest appropriate additional services or products to support vehicle performance and customer satisfaction

Quick Lane Service Advisor Requirements:

  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in service department

  • Ability to identify the problem quickly

  • Knowledge of automobiles

  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction

  • Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant

  • Very energetic personality 

  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization

  • Personal and professional integrity

  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs

  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer skills

  • Positive, friendly attitude 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
