Job description

Come join our vibrant and welcoming Starbucks team! We are seeking a Full-Time candidate with the availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Starting wage for this position is $14 per hour, plus tips, averaging $18+ per hour.ย 

Some of the main duties you're responsible for:

  • Provideย a great customer experience to exceed Starbucks Standards
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, taking orders, and answering questions with enthusiasm
  • Operate espresso machines, blenders, and other equipment skillfully, ensuring precise measurements and optimal taste
  • Prepare and serve coffees, espresso drinks, teas, and other specialty drinks
  • Prepare and serve hot breakfast items, including baked goods
  • Stock supplies, including merchandise, and keep the store clean and presentable
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and proper food handling practices
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, assisting with tasks as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with Starbucks product knowledge, promotions and new offerings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred, but not essential. We are willing to train individuals who are passionate about coffee and eager to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with customers and team members
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A positive and friendly attitude
