What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead day-to-day quarry operations to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible production
  • Coach and support team members to promote engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate production activities, equipment usage, and maintenance to meet operational goals
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to drive performance, cost control, and operational excellence

What Are We Looking For

  • Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate, develop, and guide quarry crews, ensuring efficient daily production, clear task direction, and consistent performance across drilling, blasting, crushing, screening, and load-out activities.
  • Solid understanding of aggregate quarry operations and production processes, including pit development, material flow, crusher and screen optimization, stockpile management, and coordinate of mobile equipment such as haul trucks, loaders and excavators,
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational discipline, with the ability to enforce MSHA regulations, conduct safety talks and inspections, and maintain high standards for product consistency and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to make sound operational decisions in a fast-paced, high volume quarry environment, including adjusting production plans, responding to equipment issues, and prioritizing tasks to meet daily and weekly production targets.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with pant operators, maintenance teams, quality control, and management to resolve issues, improve processes, and support continuous operational improvement.

  • Standard work schedule with flexibility to support operational needs
