Job description

Rock Pros USA is seeking a skilled and dependable Stockpile Loader Operator to support aggregate production operations at our Silver Bell Quarry. This position is responsible for operating wheel loaders, managing stockpiles, loading customer trucks, feeding crushing equipment, and supporting daily quarry operations.
This is a hands-on position requiring adaptability and a strong team-player mindset. Candidates must be willing to assist with plant maintenance, housekeeping, crusher cleanouts, screen changes, and other operational tasks when needed. If you are unwilling to get out of the cab and support the crew, this position is not for you.
Loader Operations

  • Safely operate wheel loaders in active quarry and crushing environments.
  • Load customer and company trucks accurately and efficiently.
  • Build, maintain, and manage aggregate stockpiles.
  • Feed crushers, screens, and processing equipment as directed.
  • Monitor product quality and material inventory levels.
  • Maintain efficient material flow throughout the operation.
Equipment Operation & Skill Development
  • Demonstrate proficiency operating front-end loaders and other assigned equipment.
  • Cross-train on additional equipment as operational needs require.
  • Observe equipment performance and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
  • Support production goals while maintaining safe operating practices.
Plant Maintenance & Crew Support
  • Assist with crusher cleanouts, screen changes, conveyor maintenance, and plant repairs.
  • Participate in quarry housekeeping and cleanup activities.
  • Perform lubrication, inspections, and basic preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Report equipment issues and maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Support mechanics, operators, and supervisors as needed.
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all company policies, MSHA regulations, and site safety procedures.
  • Wear required PPE at all times.
  • Participate in workplace examinations, safety meetings, and training programs.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Serve as a positive safety example for coworkers and new employees.
Communication & Teamwork
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, scale house personnel, truck drivers, and fellow operators.
  • Coordinate production activities to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and support overall site success.
Requirements
Required
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Previous experience operating wheel loaders or similar heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and active mining operations.
  • Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and support plant maintenance activities.
Preferred
  • Experience operating CAT 980, CAT 982, CAT 966, or similar wheel loaders.
  • Aggregate, mining, quarry, crushing, or construction experience.
  • Experience feeding crushers and managing stockpiles.
  • MSHA training or previous mine-site experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to climb in and out of equipment multiple times throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to shovel, rake, clean, and perform general labor tasks.
  • Ability to work on uneven terrain and around active equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty, noisy, and varying weather conditions..
