CENTRAL STUDENTS SUMMER INTERN

Central Church - Central Students Ministry Position

Type: Summer Internship (Unpaid)

Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week

Reports To: Student Pastor / Central Students Staff

Duration: Summer Internship Term


POSITION SUMMARY

The Central Students Summer Intern will assist the Central Students Ministry team in the execution, planning, and support of student ministry programming throughout the summer. This internship is designed to provide hands-on ministry experience in both practical ministry operations and strategic ministry planning within a church setting.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Sunday Ministry Programming

Assist with Sunday morning and Sunday evening student ministry programming

Help prepare ministry spaces and facilities before services and events

Support student check-in, hospitality, setup, teardown, and general ministry operations

Assist staff and leaders in executing ministry functions and student engagement

Help create a welcoming and safe environment for students and families Monday Planning & Meetings

Attend weekly Monday student ministry staff meetings

Participate in ministry planning, brainstorming, and strategic discussions

Assist with preparation and organization for upcoming events and ministry initiatives

Collaborate with Central Students staff and volunteers in team discussions and ministry development General Ministry Support

Provide support for student ministry events and activities as assigned

Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a team-oriented attitude

Represent Central Church and Central Students in a positive and Christ-centered manner


QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least one year graduated from high school

Passion for student ministry and church leadership development

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and follow direction from ministry staff

Willingness to engage relationally with students, leaders, and staff

Alignment with the mission and values of Central Church


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to assist with setup and teardown of ministry environments

Ability to move throughout ministry spaces during events and programming


COMPENSATION

This internship is unpaid and intended to provide ministry experience, leadership development, and mentorship opportunities within Central Students Ministry.
