Job description

Are you looking to make an impact through data-driven insights? Join our Global Private Bank team, where you'll partner with business leaders to shape strategy, enhance analytics, and support critical financial decisions.
As a Senior Associate - Mortgage Finance Analytics in Asset & Wealth Management Finance & Business Management (F&BM), you will support the Global Private Bank Deposit & Mortgage business. You will play a key role in delivering profitability insights, forecasting, and regulatory analytics while partnering closely with Finance, Credit Risk, and model stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to own high-impact deliverables, enhance analytical capabilities, and translate complex data into actionable insights in a collaborative, control-focused environment.
 
Job Responsibilities
 
  • Partner with Mortgage Finance and business leadership to deliver profitability analysis, trends, and decision-support insights
  • Execute quarterly processes including mortgage stress testing (CCAR) and CECL reserve analytics
  • Analyze stress testing and reserving outputs, summarizing key themes and presenting insights to senior management
  • Perform ad hoc analytics to support Credit Risk, including credit cost trends and model result interpretation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance and monitor forecasting frameworks across revenue, credit, and prepayment risks
  • Support financial forecasting and outlook for mortgage-related metrics, including balance projections, NII, FTP, and client rates
  • Translate complex model outputs and balance sheet drivers into clear, executive-ready insights
  • Design and maintain analytical tools to support forecasting, model execution, and performance monitoring
  • Support model implementation activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and ongoing monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to the firmwide Model Risk Policy
  • Drive process improvements through automation, simplification, and enhancement of internal controls

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in finance analytics, quantitative analytics, credit analytics, or forecasting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights
  • Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets and complex formulas
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying structured datasets
  • Experience supporting model execution, implementation, or validation activities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders, including senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Experience within mortgage, lending, or credit lifecycle analytics
  • Familiarity with stress testing frameworks and CECL reserve methodologies
  • Programming experience in Python, R, SAS, or similar tools
  • Understanding of banking and balance sheet concepts such as NII and FTP
  • Experience with data visualization or analytics tools such as Tableau or Alteryx
  • Exposure to forecasting models, prepayment analytics, or credit risk modeling
  • Experience working in a regulated financial services environment
