Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Intern to join our Finance teams for a hands-on learning experience. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a career in finance, accounting, or business to gain real-world exposure to financial analysis, reporting, and operations within a fast-paced consumer goods company.


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support the Finance team in preparing and analyzing financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators.
  • Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process through data collection and modeling support.
  • Help gather, organize, and present financial data for internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial research and benchmarking as directed.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives and documentation of financial procedures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments on financial data needs.
  • May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary

Position Requirements

  • Internal Only: Experience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources

Additional Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field at a college or university.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Eagerness to learn, contribute, and work as part of a team.
