Job description

The Marketing Intern is an enthusiastic team member with a passion to learn, to contribute, and to support Marketing to execute their departmental projects. The intern will work directly with various marketing teams and leaders. This internship provides the opportunity to acquire hands-on experience and skills while ensuring exposure to both strategy and execution aspects of the work at Desert Financial. The internship provides broad experience within Marketing as well as the financial services industry, which helps prepare the intern to enter any fast-paced work environment.

 

What you will do here:

Support the marketing teams by contributing to departmental projects, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.

Assist in coordinating and executing marketing campaigns and trafficking projects for internal review using project management system, Workfront.

Assist with the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns and competitors, helping develop insights and reports.

Provide day-to-day operational support to ensure smooth project execution of all campaigns.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What you will need:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Currently working towards an Associate or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Graphic Arts, Communications, Journalism, Fine Arts, Business, or related field required.

Strong attention to detail and organized with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment required.

Strong communicator who can work easily with marketing team members required.

Ability to work across teams required.

Creative problem-solver with the ability to foster and develop others’ ideas as well as your own required.

Self-driven, ability to manage timelines and drive for results required.

Technology savvy required.
